While HSUS began an animal welfare organization back in 1954, its current focus is toward legislation that severely impedes or eliminates domestic animals and animal ownership. HSUS disguises its political campaigns as attacks against “puppy mills,” animal cruelty, and “hoarding.”

HSUS sells vegetarian dog food as "a nutritious, environmentally friendly and ethically responsible food for our best friends."

The dog food made by HSUS, Humane Choice, that is made in Uruguay, does contain preservatives and vitamins that may be from synthetic sources, since the package does not specify the source of the vitamins.

Why does the company, Drs. Foster and Smith, which provides products to animal owners, support and affiliate itself with the anti-animal ownership organization, HSUS?

HSUS recounts the travesty of the "rescue" of Keiko and suggests that it should the same to Tilikum.

HSUS and PETA* masquerade as organizations concerned with the welfare of animals, but in fact their agendas are to eliminate all relationships between humans and animals. They use the terms "animal rights," “animal protection,” and "animal welfare" interchangeably to promote their radical objectives.
