Rush Limbaugh is an Animal Rights Activist

in

Rush Limbaugh is supportive of HSUS (the Humane Society of the United States), which is neither a humane society, nor representative of the entire U.S. HSUS is a political lobbying organization that masquerades as an animal welfare organization, although the laws that they write favor animal rights, which is a movement to ban all animal ownership and use.

Many of the laws that HSUS has written make it a crime to own animals in several situations. Owning more than a certain number of animals is criminal under the HSUS laws and this number ranges from 5 to 50, depending on the state. Persons previously charged with crimes are prevented from owning animals and judicial review is stricken from many laws. Warrantless searches and seizures are written into laws by HSUS. Owning certain breeds of dogs is a crime in some of their laws. Mandatory euthanasia is advocated by HSUS for adoptable animals and is written into some of the laws it lobbies for.

The HSUS considers that animal hoarding is owning more than a "typical" number of animals and it has determined that the average number of dogs people own is 1.7 and cats is 2.3. If the HSUS gets any of its hoarding laws passed, then it can reduce the number of animals for laws that are passed, currently 5-10 for some of its laws, down to the average number of animals that people own. HSUS is also opposed to all forms of hunting and fishing.

Rush Limbaugh is supportive of the HSUS, so he must support the HSUS agenda, which is an animal rights agenda.
