How the laws are changing
in
Animal Rights groups, like HSUS and PeTA, are actively and aggressively campaigning in most states of the United States for legislation that seriously impedes animal ownership and control. Many laws are promoted as animal welfare laws, but these laws typically disguise the animal rights agenda of no owned or domesticated animals.
Some laws limit what types or breeds of animals may be owned, others limit how many animals a person can own, and many more laws mandate spaying and neutering. More insidious than these laws are the laws that authorize warrantless searches and seizures (CA A.B. 241) and those that require third parties to spay or neuter another person's pets when the pet owner is away (CA S.B. 250).
